After years of waiting, Mo Williams will finally be joining the All-Star team. Mo will be replacing injured all-star, Chris Bosh. Chris Bosh is still nursing a sprained knee. Mo will be the second player called to replace and injured all-star. Earlier in the week, Ray Allen was also asked to replace the injured Jameer Nelson. Mo will be joining fellow teammate Lebron James in the Eastern Conference All-Star Team.

Mo Williams proved to the league this season that he deserves to be named to the All-Star team. He has been an instrumental player in the Cavaliers’ success. He is showing that he has been the missing link in the Cavs’ offense. He is able to take off a little of the heavy load on Lebron James’ shoulders. Mo has been showing an all-around game; hitting from beyond the three point line and being able to attack the defense with his slashing. Mo is averaging 17.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists for the Cavaliers. He also scored his career-high in points with 43 points against the Sacramento Kings this season. He has helped the Cavs to a 39 win and 11 loss scorecard, second in the Eastern Conference. He has been one of the greatest additions to the Cavaliers’ team since drafting Lebron James with their first overall pick.
