Lakers Lose to the Sixers

In their most recent game, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Lakers built a lead early in the game. But the resilient team from Philadelphia continued playing on, not giving up. Even as they trailed in the fourth quarter, they kept fighting.
The Sixers was given a big boost from Donyell Marshall. He has been seeing very limited minutes in the season. But this time, the Sixers needed him more than ever and he delivered. Donyell scored 10 points in the final frame. Louis Williams also stepped up his game. He poured in 18 points and dished out 6 assists coming off the bench.
The star of the night has got to be Andre Iguodala. He did not only lead his team in scoring, he made the game-winning shot at the buzzer. The Sixers were down 2 in the dying seconds of the game. The Sixers called a timeout and set up a play for Andre Iguodala. Andre called an isolation play on top of the key and showed his brilliance. Instead of penetrating, where his excellent in, he pulled up for a three pointer and hit it at the buzzer.
Kobe Bryant was quiet in the game. He only scored 11 points going 5-15 from the field. Pau Gasol led the way for the Lakers with 25 points. The Lakers now hold only the 2nd best record in the league with 53 wins and 14 losses.
