Intense Battle in the East for 8th Spot

There is a tight battle in the Eastern Conference Playoff Race for the 8th and final spot in the postseason. The three teams fighting for the 8th spot are the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, and Charlotte Bobcats. As of the moment, the Chicago Bulls are holding on to the 8th spot. With more or less 14-16 games left in the season, the other two teams, Milwaukee and Charlotte, only trail the bulls by 1.5 games in the standings. Unfortunately, the winner of the 8th spot in the East will have to battle the Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs. That is not really a match up any team would want to be in, given the fact that the Cavaliers are playing incredibly well this season and have a shot at securing the top spot in the whole NBA.
I think that the team with the highest chances of competing with the Cavaliers would be the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are loaded with high-scoring guards like Ben Gordon and John Salmons. They also have young and explosive big men in Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah. Luol Deng is also there to contribute in all aspects of the game. Last but not the least, it would just be fun to watch how Derrick Rose plays in the postseason as a rookie. Watching Derrick Rose play is just fun to watch. His quickness and speed is just amazing.
The postseason starts in a month or two. This has been one of the more surprising seasons. It seems like the standings of each team is still unsure. Anyone can steal home court from those who hold the position now. (except for the top 3 in the East) This year’s playoffs would surely be a good one.
