Garnett Might Sit Out the Rest of the Season, Four Games at Least

The Boston Celtics’ most energy-filled and intense player will most likely be sitting out the rest of the season. One thing’s for certain though, he will be sitting out their next four games. The remaining three, they’ll still have to see how he will be doing. His progress with his injury is not going as well as the team thought it would. Garnett is still nursing a sore right knee.

He has missed 15 of Boston’s last 16 games and it didn’t really go too well for them. Garnett is the team’s best post defender. He can practically matchup with any bigman in the league. He is also a big boost in the offensive end. His turnaround jumper is almost unstoppable.  During the 13-game stretch when Garnett sat out, the Celtics lost 6 times. Kevin Garnett has been averaging 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds for the team. He also contributes hussle and all the other intangibles that are essential to winning.

The Celtics will have to find players who will step up in place of Garnett if they want to have a chance at chasing that second seed in the playoffs which may assure the Celtics home court in the first and second round of the playoffs. Remember, the Celtics lost almost all their road games last season in the playoffs.

They still have a chance. Garnett might play during the C’s last three games which means he’ll probably be playing during the playoffs.

Not with the way the Cavs and Lakers are playing. They are lucky enough to reach the Eastern Conference Finals dude

That is true, taking into consideration how well the Cavs and Lakers are playing. Even though Garnett would be there and healthy, I think the Celtics would still have a tough time agains the two other teams. The Magic would also be a difficult task for them.
