The Cavaliers have completed a first round sweep of the Detroit Pistons with a 99-78 win. Lebron James led the way for the Cavaliers with 36 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists. Mo Williams scored 24 while Delonte had 12. The stars of Detroit didn’t really contribute much for their team. It was Antonio McDyess who stepped up with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Will Bynum, the rookie, scored 24 points. Rodney Stuckey had 14. After the third quarter, it already seemed like the game was sealed.
The Cavaliers will now be waiting for the winners of the matchup between the Hawks and the Heat.

The Bulls bounced back from 2 straight losses against the Boston Celtics to win in double overtime, 121-118. Seven players scored in double figures for the Bulls. Derrick Rose led the way for the Bulls almost recording a triple double with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. He is truly proving himself worthy of his Rookie of the Year Award. Ben Gordon scored 22 and John Salmons scored 20. For the Celtics, Ray Allen scored 28, Pierce had 29, and Rondo scored 25 but still lost to the Bulls. It was a tightly contested game until the end. It took two extra sessions to achieve the outcome of the game. Kevin Garnett still sat out this one. Game 5 will be played in Boston.
