Magic and Rockets Upset Opponents, steal one on the road

The 5th seed in the West and the 3rd seed in the East have upset their opponents on their opponent’s home court. For lower seeded teams, that is the right way to start a playoff round.
The Magic came out with more energy but almost got caught in the final frame. The Magic had a very big lead in the game but the Celtics didn’t give up. They were able to get close but still lost by 5, 95-90. Dwight Howard started slow but got into the flow. He finished the game with 16 points, 22 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Rashard Lewis led the Magic in scoring with 18 points. Mickael Pietrus stepped up coming off the bench to score 17 points, hitting 3 three point shots. Hedo had 15 and Rafer Alston scored 12.
Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 23 points. Rondo scored 12, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists. He had 7 turnovers in the game though. Ray Allen only scored 9 points, missing 10 of his 12 shot attempts. The Celtics will look to bounce back and win one at home before heading to Orlando for games 3 and 4.
On the other side of the playoff bracket, the Houston Rockets upset the favorites Los Angeles Lakers. Yao Ming came up with a strong performance for the Rockets with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Ron Artest scored 21 points and dished out 7 assists. Aaron Brooks stepped up for the Rockets with 19 points. Only Kobe seemed to show up for the Lakers. He scored 32 points. Game 2 will still be in Los Angeles and the Lakers will try to prove they deserve the best record in the West.
