After scoring a playoff career high of 49 points in Game 1, Lebron James came out scoring again. But this time, the season MVP was able to lead his team to a victory in historic fashion as Lebron was able to connect on a buzzer-beating three pointer to give the Cavaliers a 96-95 win over the Orlando Magic.

After leading by as much as 23 points in the first half, the Cavaliers, once again, blew a big lead and found themselves trailing late in the fourth quarter. Thanks to the resilience of the Orlando Magic, they were almost to pull off another come from behind victory. Unfortunately for the Magic, Lebron James had another trick up his sleeve. The Orlando Magic team and coaching staff were stunned as Lebron hit a well-challenged three pointer.

Lebron James finished the game with 35 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and a win on top of a stellar performance. Mo Williams scored 19 points and came up big in the fourth quarter as he was able to hit crucial baskets to keep the game close.

Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu led the way for the Magic. Rashard scored 23 points while Hedo scored 21. Hedo also hit Orlando’s final basket to put them up 95-93 prior to Lebron’s phenomenal three pointer. Dwight Howard was only able to shoot the ball 8 times and score only 10 points for his team. Although the lack of shot attempts, Dwight was able to grab 18 rebounds.

The series is now tied at 1-1. Games 3 and 4 will be played in Orlando. We will see if the Cavaliers can win on the road against the Magic.
