Magic Go Up 2-1

Lebron James was once again playing like the league’s MVP. He was missing his mid-ranged shots but still managed to rack up 41 points. He went to the free throw line 24 times and made 18 of them. Lebron missed a hand full of them in the fourth quarter. Although Lebron played a phenomenal game, the Cavaliers have once again come short of coming away with a win over the Magic. The Magic proved that it takes a whole team to win a game. Cleveland’s supporting cast were not able to produce well for the team. It was a Lebron show; three straight games now.
On the other hand, the Orlando Magic are playing better than ever. They are taking advantage of the mismatches on the floor. The Magic were also able to manage to limit the Cavaliers to only shooting 37% from the floor. The biggest impact on the game though is the free throw shooting of the Magic. Everyone was making their free throws. Even Dwight Howard was able to sink majority of his free throws in the fourth. Dwight led the way for the Magic with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and made 14 of his 19 free throw attempts before fouling out. Rafer Alston also came up big and racked up 18 points for his club. Mickael scored 16 points coming off the bench and played incredible defense on Lebron James in the crucial moments of the game. Hedo Turkoglu struggled to hit a shot but managed to make 11 free throws for his team. He finished with 13 points, going 1 for 11 shooting. He also grabbed 10 rebounds and dished 7 assists.
The Cavaliers still have no answer for the Magic. They are struggling. The Cavaliers team that we all saw in the regular season, first and second round of the playoffs are not present in the conference finals. They are relying to heavily on their superstar Lebron James. Good job to the Orlando Magic for taking advantage of the slumping Cavaliers. The Magic will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead next game. If the Cavaliers supporting cast don’t step up, I don’t see how they could still win this series.
