Magic Win Again

The Orlando Magic have almost completed their upset of the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. It seems like the Magic are peaking at the right time. They struggled in the first two rounds of the playoffs. But now, it seems like at least two or three players are playing well every game. The Orlando Magic are feeding off all the mismatches they’re seeing on the floor. And in Game 4, they kept going to the high pick and roll involving Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu. It seemed to be unstoppable as the Magic found open three after open three. The Magic should beware though as they won’t always be that lucky. They’ll have bad shooting days too. The Magic hit 17 threes in the game, going 44 percent from the field.
Dwight Howard led the way for the Magic as he recorded 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks. He amazingly hit his free throws when it counted again like last game. He also scored the first 6 points in the overtime period for the Magic to boost their team to an early lead. Rafer Alston scored 26 points, and a phenomenal third quarter. He kept his team in the game hitting driving layups and three pointers. Rashard Lewis scored 17 points and hit crucial baskets in the fourth including a three pointer with a few seconds left to give the Magic a two point cushion which the Cavaliers would eventually tie. Mickael Pietrus scored 17 as well. All his field goals came from three pointers, 5 for 11.
For the Cleveland Cavaliers, it was the Lebron James show, as usual. He’s playing too much of a hero now for his team. The others have to really step up. Although his teammates assisted him in scoring tonight, They weren’t shooting at a very high percentage and they were very inconsistent. Lebron James scored above 40 once again with 44 points. He also grabbed 12 rebounds, 7 assists, but also had 8 turnovers, majority coming from the fourth and overtime. He was a savior at the same time though, he hit the tying free throws to end regulation and almost got his team the win. He hit a very tough three pointer to cut the Magic lead to 1. After the Magic hit a free throw, Lebron almost made a shot from near half court.Mo scored 18 points while Delonte scored 17, probably his best game of the series.
Game 5 will be in Cleveland.
