Magic take Game 3

The Orlando Magic showed the Los Angeles Lakers that they truly deserve to be in the finals. The Magic avoided a 3 game deficit heading into the 4th game of the series. The Orlando Magic have come back to their original style of play, like the way they played against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Magic played an inside-out game. They were hitting shots at a very high percentage. In fact, the team set a record by shooting 62 percent for the game; 75 percent in the first half. When you shoot that well, it’s almost sure that you will take the game. Unless of course the other team shot better. That was not the case this game though.
Dwight Howard led the Magic in scoring as he recorded 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Rashard Lewis shared the top-scorer honors with Dwight as he also racked in 21 points for the Magic. Rafer Alston had 20 points. Hedo Turkoglu scored 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists.
For the Lakers, it was the Kobe and Pau show only. Kobe Bryant scored 31 points in the game, 17 in the first quarter. He also had 8 assists. Pau Gasol scored 23 points but only had 3 rebounds in the game. Trevor Ariza finished with 13 points and 7 rebounds.
It was a good all-around game for the Orlando Magic. They outplayed the Los Angeles Lakers to get their first franchise win in the Finals. We will see if the Magic can protect home court and take the 3 remaining games they will have in Orlando.
