Allen Iverson Now Homeless

For the aging NBA stars, the time to act up may not necessarily be now. Iverson, also known as “the Answer” has parted ways with the Memphis Grizzlies to attend to supposed personal matters. At 34, Iverson may not necessarily be the same speedy mighty mite of before and might just be on the verge of retiring. If you look at it, Iverson is following the footsteps of a moody Stephon Marbury who refused to sign a one year deal with the Boston Celtics earlier this year. Ironically both are point guards and considering the number of guards in the NBA today, they may as well be headed to the good old locker in the skies.

Iverson’s closest taste to a NBA title came when he was with Philadelphia. They eventually lost to the Los Angeles Lakers that year and never really gained ground. Drafted in 1996, we may just see Iverson’s career in the crossroads. Sure he may be back but don’t expect him to get a fat paycheck when he does.
