Knicks Pass On Iverson
The New York Knicks are off to their worst start in franchise history and player movements within the team may be forthcoming. But if there is a player in the market they are considering, it has to be the Answer, Allen Iverson. However, after his continued tantrums and attitude for the past two years, it may be safe to say that they would pass on Iverson, possibly looking at other options other than the disgruntled guard who left Memphis after 3 games.
Mike D’ Antoni has his share of problems. Another guard who gave him a tough time was Stephon Marbury who ironically is out of a job in the NBA today. Looking at Iverson, it would be like bringing back Marbury in a different person, something the club doesn’t really need right now. Iverson is good but he hasn’t won a championship. He has copped the MVP award but nothing counts if you don’t fit into a team. And believe you me, Iverson is not a fit in the New York Knicks lineup!
