McGrady Comeback Stalled

By Gamezone Insider | November 21st, 2009

Weeks back, reports were saying that Houston Rockets star Tracy McGrady would be coming back sooner than expected. After having microfracture surgery on his left knee last February, McGrady is scheduled to have MRI on Monday. Apparently the approach is to ensure that McGrady can play longer in the season and hurrying him back may not help the club’s cause at all.

Curiously, there were reports that the Rockets and McGrady got into a heated argument regarding his return. McGrady wants to play but perhaps the expense and investment for the high flyer is something that the organization is paying close attention to. Of course, McGrady denied the allegation saying it did not happen. But if McGrady was really determined to play and Coach Rick Adelman didn’t want him to, you can bet that the situation does make sense; if it did happen.
