Hawk’s Johnson Out for 2 Games

By Gamezone Insider | April 7th, 2010

The playoffs are nearing and the number of players getting injuries is swelling. Shaquille O’ Neal has been out for quite a while, Andrew Bogut is undergoing surgery and Stephen Jackson is set to return soon for Charlotte.

The inspired Atlanta Hawks however may have to make do with their next two games without leading scorer Joe Johnson who is dealing with a sprained thumb.

Johnson didn’t travel with the Hawks, who play in Charlotte on Tuesday and Detroit on Wednesday. He sat out Saturday’s win over the Pistons after getting hurt last week against the Los Angeles Lakers.

At least by the time he gets back, the Hawk’s may be prepping for the coming playoffs, something that many people are eagerly looking forward to.
