Jose Bautista and J.P. Arencibia each hit two-run home runs, Hutchison won consecutive starts for the first time and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Yankees 4-1 Thursday night, sweeping their two-game series.

Pettitte’s return to Yankees spoiled by Mariner
Nearly lost amid the excitement over Pettitte’s first major league appearance since retiring after the 2010 season was party crasher Kevin Millwood’s performance for Seattle _ helped by three double plays. The 37-year-old Millwood (1-4) gave up three hits in seven innings and got his 2,000th career strikeout as Seattle avoided a three-game sweep.
Hamilton homers again for Rangers
Texas’ Josh Hamilton hit his major league-leading 15th homer of the season as the Rangers won the night game against the Baltimore Orioles 7-3 on Thursday to split their doubleheader.
