Magic Owner Breathes New Life Into Dwight Howard Rumor Mill

Dwight Howard’s time in Orlando is fleeting. Although Otis Smith, the Magic’s general manager, has stressed that there’s no urgency to deal Howard, the best big man in the game, it’s only a matter of time before Howard lands on some other team’s roster to cement that team’s future and delight its fans. Smith and the Magic will be left to pick up the pieces and reshape a franchise otherwise lacking in elite talent.
